Extending My Work: Literacy Initiatives

My research is closely tied to my work as the founder and leader of the Comic Share Program. In this role, I introduce students to non-violent, age-appropriate comics through interactive reading sessions. Additionally, I created One Word at a Time: An Illustrated Children’s Dictionary to support literacy development and standardized test readiness. Comics are more than just fun stories – they are tools for learning and creativity. I invite you to join me in using comics to make education accessible for all people.
